• No headings or footers

• No special formatting, other than italics and bold

• DOCX (Word) or Google Docs

• Name + story title on first page only

• First publication rights

• Non‑exclusive rights after publication

• The author retains copyright

• 100‑word max Bio

• Third Person

• Headshot Photo

• Links allowed (website, social media)

 

File Naming Convention:

• Input into the SUBJECT Line of Email, along with the submission

• Lastname_Firstname_StoryTitle.docx

 

Content Restrictions

• Must be author's original work

• No erotica

• No hate speech

• Violence allowed within narrative purpose (not gratuitous)

• No AI‑generated stories

• No previously published work (unless AUTHORIZED)

• WAZAAN reserves the right to accept or reject any submissions
